Description (in English)

SIRI&me is an art experiment that translates the formula of television programing onto a cross-social-media platform. A combination of reality TV and sitcom, SIRI&me proposes a new form of entertainment based solely on social media. Each episode consists of a screenshot of a text conversation between iPhone’s Siri and the phone’s owner, Esmeralda. Organized in three seasons of ten episodes each, the virtual sitcom investigates the complex relationship humans have developed with technology through the evolving friendship of its two characters – Siri and Esmeralda.

Description (in English)

World Clock tells of 1440 incidents that take place around the world at each minute of a day. The novel was inspired by Stanislaw Lem’s “One Human Minute” and Harry Mathews’s “The Chronogram for 1998.” It celebrates the industrial concept of time and certain types of vigorous banality which are shared by all people throughout the world. This novel was generated with 165 lines of Python code, all of which were written by the author in about four hours on November 27, 2013. The only external data source that is used in the generation process is the computer’s time zone database. The source code is available under a free software license at http://nickm.com/code; anyone is welcome to use that code to generate their own novel or for any other purpose. World Clock was generated as part of the first "NaNoGenMo" or National Novel Generation Month, which was declared on Twitter this year as a response to, and alternative to, the better-known NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).

Technical notes

World Clock is a 239-page book generated by 165 lines of Python.

Description (in original language)

Description (in English)

Opus No. 2 of the flow series started with "flog". Flow is the text of a fiction built on both moments from my family history, of contemporary immigration, and history that is told in the film Letter My friend Pol Cèbe, 1970 Desrois Michel and Antoine Bonfanti and José Thiais, of Medvedkines groups.

Flow crosses eras and different narrative modes: family history, political history (the Medvedkine Groups) and contemporary news.

Flow strives to tell a story, the story of a band of friends workers who leave a day in 1967 to Lille by car, plan one of their films in a cinema. They take a man hitchhiking with a funny halo on your head, at their request, it tells a story. He tells them that of grandma Mireille Sangatte in 2008 which will be indicted for crime of solidarity. The text features the telescoping of these two periods, reviving one another, forty years apart ...

Flow becomes, through the same technical device as flog (a video playback teleprompter projected accompanied by a soundtrack) a fiction without pause, only a few moments of slowdown, which between the soundtrack and the voice, elasticity forms: a flow, giving the title to the piece.

Luc Dall'Armellina - 2009

Description (in original language)

Description (in English)

This book is a collection of misattributed quotes created in a collaborative writing project by a group of Ghanian writers on Facebook. Initially the project used the hashtag #GHquotes but it was changed to #GHcoats as a play on both the common Ghanian pronunciation of quotes as coats and the Ghanian sartorial fascination with ornate and often climate-inappropriate clothing. Many of the quotes play upon Ghanian themes, but are attributed to famous people, such as Albert Einstein, Chairman Mao or Mohammed Ali. (Source: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/384482)
