Description (in English)

This adaptation of the prize-winning children's book "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" is a combinatory work where children can choose between three options. The "Egg" mode generates a story without input from the child. The "Chick" mode lets the child choose from sets of objects and goals, for instance, "Complete this sentence: The Pigeon wants to... rule the world / drive a bus / eat your dinner." The story is then told with the child's choices inserted. In the "Big Pigeon" mode, the child can record their own story elements and a story is generated using the child's voice along with the pre-recorded audio.

Description (in original language)

[Source: http://www.agencetopo.qc.ca/blog/2002/11/12/histoire-de-la-femme-aux-gr… ]

Description (in English)

In English and Spanish, by Chris Joseph in collaboration with artist Maria Colino, Dadaventuras is an experiment in aleatory narrative, using comic book conventions to generate stories from 8 distinct but overlapping perspectives. The language of our narrative is hybrid (from the greek 'hybris', outrage or violation): composed of parts from different languages, in this case our own blend of 'spanglish'. This intentionally recalls the Dadaists use of nonsense to express dissatisfaction with a world society that continued its insane addiction to war. The user can also write their own text to use as the basis for the generated narratives, or use one of 8 classic texts, or turn the text off completely and make the story up in their head.

Description (in English)

An email invites readers to visit a website. The website explains that the narrator is searching for his own replacement. The job to be filled is not explicitly described, but is implied to be extremely important: "While I cannot tell you the specifics of this arrangement, I can say my daily tasks are vital to everything. And by everything I mean exactly what the word implies. Without the simple and reoccurring tasks I complete, what you know now will no longer be." The questionaire, which is created in Google Forms, is extremely long and contains many bizarre questions which can possibly be read in a way that will provide a more complete story.
