Abstract (in English)
Giselle Beiguelman underlines that it is essential to be aware of the historical continuities as well as of the discontinuities that materialize in electronic literature or art. This is particularly true in Brazil where multimedia poets combine videotext and video with their texts.
The essay deals both with these historical continueties and more recent trends exhibited in a number of recent works of electronic literature.
