Short biography
Oswaldo Estrada is Associate Professor of Spanish and Editor of Romance Notes at the Department of Romance Languages & Literatures from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Author's synopsis: "Focusing primarily on the literatures of Mexico and Peru, I study the aesthetic effect of rewriting history, gender formation and transgression, and the construction of identities in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries".
