Short biography
Dorelia Barahona Riera was born in Madrid in 1959. She studied Philosophy and Art at Costa Rica University. She has been awarded by some of her novels. With her first novel De qué manera te olvido: 1990 she received the prize Juan Rulfo in 1989. She received the prize of Editorial de la Universidad de Costa Rica with her book of poems La edad del deseo in 1996. She founded the publishing house LUMBRE in 2004, nowadays she is the president of this publishing house.
