The Eastgate Quarterly Review of Hypertext

The Eastgate Quarterly Review of Hypertext is a publication showcasing hypertext literature produced and distributed by Eastgate Systems, Inc. Eight total publications were made available from 1993 to 1996. These include:

• Volume 1, Number 1, 1993: Jim Rosenberg's Intergrams, a 3.5-inch floppy disk packaged in vinyl folio
• Volume 1, Number 2, Winter 1994: Mary-Kim Arnold's Lust and J. Yellowlees Douglas's "I Have Said Nothing" 
• Volume 1, Number 3, Summer 1994: Kathryn Cramer's "In Small & Large Pieces" and Kathy Mac's "Unnatural Habitats"
• Volume 1, Number 4, Fall 1994: Giuliano Franco's "Quam Artem Exerceas?" and Rob Swigart's "Directions"
• Volume 2, Number 1, Summer 1995: Edward Falco's "Sea Island," and Richard Gess' "Mahasukha Halo"
• Volume 2, Number 2, Winter 1995: Judith Kerman's "Mothering" and Deena Larsen's "Century Cross"
• Volume 2, Number 3, Summer 1996: Jim Rosenberg's Barrier Frames and Diffractions Through
• Volume 2, Number 4, Fall 1996: Robert Kendall's A Life Set for Two and Richard Smyth's Genesis: A Rhizography

While most of the works were created with Storyspace software, some, like Kendall's, were not. The first publication was packaged in a vinyl folio, typical of the earliest Eastgate hypertexts; all others were packaged in the cardboard folio.
