Kyle Bickoff is a Ph.D. student in the Department of English at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a Site Manager for Romantic Circles, a peer-reviewed scholarly website devoted to Romantic-period literature and culture. Kyle works as the remote Database Developer for the Media Archaeology Lab. His research focuses on electronic literature, media studies, the history of the book, digital curation, and the archive's role in the preservation of print and born-digital media.
Kyle received his M.A. in English Literature at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014. He has worked at the Media Archaeology Lab (MAL) as Lab Manager and at the Archives and Special Collections Department for the University of Colorado Libraries where he preserved born-digital collections and maintained legacy hardware. He received his B.A. in English Literature from the University of Florida in 2011, where he his research and thesis focused on experimental film, media studies, and literature.
